Food for thought…
Websites can cost an arm and a leg
There are several options to creating a website that requires little or no money. You can set up a blog on wordpress.com or blogger.com, set up a website using yola.com to name a few. If you want to get a bit more technical you can even go as far as using some open source solutions hosted on your own domain. It’s all possible.
The real question though is ‘what are you trying to achieve?’. You always get what you pay for. For reason’s I understand there is resistance to paying good money for a good website. The word FREE has been used so many times on the Internet that paying for something must start to sound rather odd.

Telepathy on the Internet
A website is not the place to hide your message, but you can if you want to.
It happens often that copy provided by the client is copied and pasted into the appropriate spaces and linked to the navigation. Once linked and the links work, the page is complete and the site ready to go live.
Often there is no thought to the marketing usability and the site, which contains all the information, makes sense only to those involved in its construction. Visitors require a certain amount of telepathy in order to understand, or a remarkable insight while visiting the website to navigate and find all the important bits. Read the rest of this entry »
Viva la Web!
The web may not be the newest technology on the block but it has stood the test of time and it is here to stay. The numbers talk for themselves, hundreds of millions of websites, Internet users and all the products and every tool you need to get your site visible to your target audience.
Amazingly, search engines find what you are looking for. I can’t begin to recall all the times Google saved my skin or gave me insight into things I would not have discovered.
What really counts is that you can find what you want as quickly as possible. For every successful search there has to be websites to answer the call.
As long as we need the web to find answers, meet needs or provide information the web lives.
