Name or no name?

Having visited several sites in my time I have come to realise that few, if any, have a name listed as the recipient of any form submitted. It’s interesting that we all accept the anonymity of the platform and submit details hoping that somebody out there will get back to us.

Sometimes an automated receipt confirmation and, on the rare occasion, a human being, and maybe even one that is not part of a global email call centre.

I am not sure what is better, name, no name. For me I go with the anonymity of the web. It’s supposed to be online and I am talking to a computer so I go with the blind faith that somebody or some script will respond.

Don’t respond and the old rules apply…
